MEDLINE Plus offers health information from the world's largest medical library, the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other trusted sources on over 600 diseases and conditions. There are also links to a medical encyclopedia, medical dictionary, and a database of full-text drug information. MaineCare’s free Care Management benefit helps members get the health care services they need.

MaineCare members who are receiving the free Care Management benefit get these types of services:

  • Help from nurses called care managers. Your care manager will work with you to make sure that you are getting the right health care for you.
  • A care plan made just for you.
  • Help in finding a provider (PCP) if you don’t have one already.
